beyond excited for her easter goodies. especially the chubby cheeked rabbit clad cabbage patch kid that she hasn’t let go of since.

i found myself in a surreal moment this past weekend while strolling through the neighborhood alongside my sister. we’ve done it a zillion times before, however this particular time we were pushing our littles in strollers while discussing breast pumps and sleepless nights. for a quick second i paused in panic and then a moment later i smirked at how perfect everything’s actually fallen into place. we used to pull each others hair out and battle over clothes, but today i can say we’re the bestest of friends and i couldn’t imagine life without her. i’m totally stoked to not only be bringing up babes side-by-side but more so at the thought that one day these little girls may be as tight as sisters.

this girl is so close to walking it has me all sorts of weepy. to me it’s a milestone that tags my baby as grown up and in a perfect world she’d live on my hip forever. i haven’t pushed her one bit, but it’s probably time to embrace it and cheer my girl on.
