life lately
life lately, according to my camera. ok i lied…according to my iphone. but hey, we’ve got proof i exist so that must count for something right? we’re completely mobile now, which means us big people are constantly scrounging for ways to keep this little miss occupied. we’ve begun exploring the outdoors now that the weather is just starting to cooperate and lighten up. while we’re not fans of the swing set, we love the slide and have a major obsession with playing in the wood chips. here’s to another weekend of adventure. hopefully…

beyond excited for her easter goodies. especially the chubby cheeked rabbit clad cabbage patch kid that she hasn’t let go of since.

currently black
currently chasing: two fast little feet. that’s right, at eleven months we’re walking. at first we were hesitant and adorably wobbly, but now we’re hitting the floors running.
currently coveting: warmer weather. don’t get me wrong, i love winter and a good snow storm, but enough is enough. we’ve definitely got cabin fever and are itching to step outdoors. like right now.
currently planning: a particular little girls first birthday party. nothing big, nothing fancy, just a small gathering to celebrate lo and the fact that we survived our first year of parenthood. to make it easy on ourselves, it’s pizza for the little pizza monster herself.
currently crafting: i said nothing big, but come on…if there’s a reason to craft my motto’s ‘go big or go home’. i’m currently lost in a sea of tissue paper inspired by none other than the confetti system.
currently anticipating: easter (for all the wrong reasons)…dresses, floppy ears, bunnies, chicks, baskets, egg dying + hunting

so not happy with the swings.
clean(ing) house
i’ve noticed a common theme to my pins these days…black + white. while i’ve always had a love affair with the bold contrast, it seems as though times have changed and white is taking center stage. there’s something about spring and the desire to clean house and start fresh. i’m desperately yearning for natural light to flood my interiors. first up, new windows have been ordered for these old stone walls. still on the fence about, painting the walls white. definitely a decision to sleep on and free time to wish for.

on the move and almost impossible to capture without a blur these days.
logan month-by-month
today exactly marks 11 months of logan. which in turn means only a month to go until this baby turns an entire year old. whelp! she sees to amaze me these days as she’s quickly turning into a little girl. every new step, in her oh so unbalanced sequence, expands her exploring capabilities to a whole new level. she’s uncovering new territory daily and it’s fascinating to see the world through little eyes. my most favorite achievement this past month…the kiss on command. which i’ll be requesting many of in the next few hours before we leave our mini behind for our first weekend getaway for two. wish us all luck!
